Invisalign uses transparent aligner trays to subtly adjust your teeth into their ideal positions. These aligners are tailored to fit your dental structure.
Using a state-of-the-art iTero scanner, Dr. Pang will quickly and precisely create detailed, 3D scans of your current smile. Then Dr. Pang works collaboratively with Invisalign dentists to map out the custom treatment plan for your new smile with straighter teeth.
You will need a series of regular, face-to-face check-ups to give you each new batch of aligners and monitor the progress of your new smile. As part of the process of shifting your teeth during your treatment, you’ll be swapping out your aligners often.
Invisalign aligners are discreet and convenient. You can remove them to eat.
However, it takes discipline to commit to wearing these aligners 22 hours a day. Otherwise, you won’t see progress and you won’t reach the end goal.
The treatment progress usually takes 12-18 months after which you will need to wear retainers at night (just like after regular orthodontic treatment).
