Infection Control Precautions

posted in: News 0

Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice so that when you receive care, it is both safe and comfortable.

While our office follows the infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), in an abundance of caution – we also employ many additional processes in excess of those aforementioned protocols.

Our additional precautions include the use of:

  • Using UV-C Light sterilization equipment to treat each operatory (like Duke University Hospital).
  • Air Purification Filters in each operatory.
  • Aerosol Control with High-Evacuation suction systems.
  • Ozone.
