CDA Conference
Foggy arrival to San Francisco.
Looking forward to presenting at the California Dental Association (CDA) conference.
Le Central Restaurant.
Grabbed lunch at the iconic Le Central restaurant.
The photos and plaques locate the seat of local legends. Mayor Willie Brown in a top hat. Next to clothier Wikes Bashford. Newspaper hound, Herb Caen, had the corner window seat so as to report on the San Francisco shenanigans.
After Caroline had taken the photo, we looked over, and Willie Brown is sitting in Herb Caen's spot. Small world.
Teaching at CDA
Asheville Dentist, Dr. Peter Pang during the San Francisco lecture. How lasers work in dentistry. For General Dentistry procedures lasers provide a kinder and more gentle option. They seal nerve endings as they work, there is no scarring, and they reduce inflammation & bacteria. All this means less use of pain medications for the patients and a more minimally invasive approach.
Additional topics such as Periodontal Disease, Endodontics (root canals), Implants, and Orthodontics were covered concerning using Lasers during these procedures. The dentists attending Dr. Pang's lectures were given additional hands-on training with lasers in the classroom.A surprise visit from my brother in the middle of the conference. Simon works with the San Francisco fire department. The dentists attending Dr. Pang's lectures were given additional hands-on training with lasers in the classroom.
